으악! 너무 많이 복습을 안했다!

 

It was heavy rainy → It was raining heavily

wet my pants → my pants get wet

 

Nowadays, it is too busy to go to hospital, so I jsut want to fix my back and knees but not enough time

→ Lately, I've been too busy to go to see a doctor, I really want to fix my back, knees and whatnot, but I don't have enough time.

 

* Nowaday vs Lately

Nowadays는 과거와는 달라진 현재를 말할 때 사용한다!
대체적으로 사회적, 문화적 변화를 얘기할 때 많이 등장한다.
e.g. Nowadays, people are more consicious about their health.

Lately는 최근에 일상에서 일어난 반복적, 지속적인 상태를 설명할 때 사용한다!

* Go to the hospital vs See a doctor

병에 걸리거나 사고나서 큰 병원에 가는 느낌은 'go to the hospital'
보통 작은 병원에가서 진찰 받는 느낌은 'see a doctor'

* and whatnot

무언가를 말하고 비슷한 것들이 더 있다고 말하고 싶을 때(기타등등) 사용합니다.

e.g. It's full of old toys, books and what not.

 

I have all of scedule. → My schedule is full.

 

*get to라는 표현을 유용하게 자주 사용하는 느낌

e.g. That's why I just work with known people → That's why I only get to work with the same people.

 

If i were in a office then i think i feel extrovert person myself so i try to talk first. But in other group i just stay there and not do anything at that time. I just try to catch the atmosphere that group or their mood or something like that.

→ If I was at work, then I think I'd be more extroverted, so I would try to talk fisrt. But in other situations, I'd just quiet and wouldn't do much. I would just try to go with the flow

* go with the flow : 흘러가는대로 하다.

 

He is saying so tough → He curses too much.

 

could be ~ing : 될 수 있다.

e.g. It could be very insulting to them.

 

I try to make cofident guy impression.  → I tried to make myself seem confident.

 

good at V+ing

 

be in someone's shoes : ~의 입장에서 생각해보다.

can't take a hit : 눈치가 없다.

my e.g. I sent text every day, it means I love him. But He can never take a hit.

significance : 중요성

offend : 기분상하게 하다.
